Technical Analyst

Technical Analyst needed to join a leading automotive manufacturer located in the west Midlands.

Original Duration: 12 months
Division: Vehicle Engineering
Location: Gaydon
Position Description:
Manage effective delivery of environmental requirements on vehicle programmes. Develop technical capability on a range of environment and sustainability performance indicators to support vehicle programmes.
3 KEY SKILLS REQUIRED TO APPLY:
1) Ability to analyse complex data and draw relevant conclusions
2) Solve complex problems
3) Written and verbal communication skills to different seniority levels

Experience Required:
• Engineering or Environment/Sustainability degree or similar qualification
• Individual needs to be able to work independently and deliver to strict and tight timescales to support programme gateways

Experience Preferred:
Use of life cycle assessment tools in product environment. Knowledge of applicable environmental legislation for automotive industry. Understanding of volatile organic compound performance and behaviour in indoor environments. Experience of working in the automotive industry.

Additional Information:
Role will be based primarily at Gaydon but may require travel to other sites occasionally.
