We are searching for a Site Manager based near or in the Docking area who has previous experience working on small to medium high end residential schemes. This is a freelance / contract role with potential for more work. You will be taking over the day to day management of a partially completed site. You will be the main point of contact for site managers, building contractors and quantity surveyors throughout the final 5-6 months of the project.

As lead Site Manager you will also be responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of the scheme and managing the directly employed trades team to ensure they meet agreed SLA’s, timescales, costs, and quality.

Main responsibilities:

* Overseeing health and safety is being implemented to appropriate standards;

* Take complete responsibility for your own projects, representing the client, offering advice to project manage the design and construction teams from initial concept through to final handover;

* You will manage budgets, facilitate and lead the value management and value engineering management, stakeholder management, have experience of administering projects etc;

* Contribute to work planning, and brief project teams, contractors, and suppliers;

* Passing any extra work to be done within set timescales;

* Supply information to resolve disputes if they arise;

* Identify areas of concern and finding solutions for existing contracting processes;

* Overseeing health and safety is being implemented to appropriate standards.
