Marketing Executive

Salary: £30,000 – £42,000 per year

Marketing Executive: In order to drive increased ROI an experienced Marketing Executive with a broad range of commercial experience across online marketing, eCommerce, social media and brand identity is required to deliver a dynamic, marketing programme for an award winning pet crematorium in Hampshire.

The successful applicant will join a friendly, fast-paced team taking ownership of all company communications including social media, advertising, market research and trade events for both the pet and equine markets.

The ideal Marketing Executive will be highly motivated, detail orientated, capable of working autonomously and have a track record of delivering marketing campaigns with a positive ROI across the marketing mix to meet business KPIs. Applications from individuals with experience of rewriting product copy and company information to fit in with SEO and Google requirements are particularly welcome.

Key Responsibilities:

* Create awareness of and develop the company brand

* Provide support with marketing plans, advertising, direct marketing and campaigns

* Work closely with external creative agencies to design marketing materials such as brochures and adverts

* Manage PPC accounts – Google Ads and Facebook Ads

* Manage email newsletters and subscriber lists via MailChimp

* Manage customer reviews – FreeIndex, Google, Trustpilot, Facebook, etc.

* Update the website – make changes, create new pages, update SEO, add products (WordPress & WooCommerce) whilst also managing the image library

* Assist with products – price comparisons, sourcing, liaising with suppliers, adding to the website

* Write and proofread marketing copy for both online and print campaigns

* Produce creative content, including blog posts and articles

* Run social media channels (e.g. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and LinkedIn) to enhance audience engagement

* Research trends in the marketplace

* Produce and manage online forms and questionnaires via Typeform

* Assist with creation and management of online documents and spreadsheets

* Improve communications and commercial opportunities with veterinary clients

* Monthly reporting and budget management

Skills & Experience:

* Previous experience in a similar standalone marketing role

* Good project management/organisation skills

* Experience with direct and digital marketing

* A good understanding of copy writing for all marketing collateral

* An understanding of SEO and Google analytics

* A relevant Marketing degree – desirable
