Maintenance Electrician (12 Month FTC)

A unique opportunity has arisen to join an in house maintenance team at a highly prestigious site. The organisation are seeking an experienced and fully qualified electrical maintenance technician.

As an Electrical Engineering Technician, the job holder will be a highly experienced and capable artisan responsible for undertaking routine, planned and reactive maintenance and repair of plant, equipment and building infrastructure relative to the specialism.

The job holder will have responsibilities that include:

Supervision and leadership of nominated subordinate staff.
-Delivery of planned preventative maintenance as allocated, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and on time. Undertaking emergency response to reactive maintenance in line with service level agreements.
-Identification and assessment of any infrastructure in need of replacement or nearing end of life.
-Interrogating and analysing BMS systems to provide performance statistics and trends as well as optimisation of plant performance.
-Undertake diagnostics within specialism to establish repair or replacement requirements.
-Ensuring work is carried out in accordance with the Bank’s Safe Systems of Work and undertaking Authorised Person Duties as required. Production of regular updates and reports on team status, progress and/or future requirements.
-Be part of the on call roster for out of hours response to emergency call.

Successful candidates will have a number of years experience within commercial building maintenance, either as part of an in-house team or an outsourced provider. Ideally you will have experience across a few different sites and environments. you will be a fully qualified electrician, (city and guilds or equivalent) as well has possess 17th edition wiring certs.
