Salary: £27,600 – £28,800 per year
Desktop Support
This is a Regional role, for a Desktop Support Technician
You will need to have experience in using 70% or more of the technologies below, or commitment to gain understanding: –
• Certifications in Microsoft technologies
• Good understanding of Microsoft Exchange and Server
• Microsoft Windows Operating systems
• An understanding of Microsoft Active Directory
• An understanding of VM ware
• To have a good understanding of Citrix environments
• A good understanding of WAN and LAN environments
• Detailed understanding of client hardware and operating system to affectively trouble shoot problems
• An understanding of MPLS, VPN fundamentals.
• Mobile technologies
• Telephony
Beneficial Skills and Attributes: –
• Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative where required
• To be professional and presentable at all times
• Ability to handle difficult and demanding customers
• Prince 2 awareness
• ITIL awareness.
