Salary: £28.8 – £31.2 per hour
Site Setting out engineer required for a 4 – 5 Week contract from Mid August.
You will be working for a large Top 10 Main contractor setting out for an extension to a public building.
Based on site in the Wirral the role will last for a minimum 4 – 5 Weeks.
Working for the main contractor your role will encompass the full range of engineering duties and will require some management of materials and the overseeing of some subcontractors.
Typical duties and activities undertaken include:
* Acting as main point of call for technical advice
* Checking plans, quantities and drawings to ensure accuracy
* Overseeing health and safety
* Overseeing and managing relevant site labour and sub-contractors
* Resolving any technical queries and other problems that arise
Site Engineer skills required, including:
* Excellent team worker
* Technical knowledge of construction processes
* High attention to detail
* Problem solving
* Excellent IT skills
* Strong communicative skills both written and oral
* Strong analytical skills
This is a confirmed requirement with a start date for Mid to End August.
