Salary: £32,400 – £42,000 per year

They have also won awards for the consistent quality of their service. They are a progressive, problem-solving stockholder business, working in long-term partnership with their customers. This has led to growth in a variety of markets and industries across the UK and in Europe.
They now require a skilful, Business Development Manager to join their existing Sales Team. You will be designated an area of clients across a number of counties, and the emphasis of the role will be in maintaining their business orders and growing increasing sales potential by offering new products. Your focus will be to ensure that customer service is of the highest standard at all times. Any issue, however small, should be dealt with promptly to rectify any product defects or delivery delays. You will spend about 4 days per week out with customers on personalised visits, with 1-2 days in the office. The company is flexible on your location provided that you are about 2 hours or so close to the Regional Offices. They are also flexible on your steel product knowledge provided that there is a good technical knowledge to build on, as they will provide classroom training on their specific product range.
The company have internal product and service programmes that you will attend regularly to ensure your personal growth. You will come from a background of collaborative teamwork. You will truly feel part of ‘the company team’ as all departments work closely together by supporting each other, which is very motivational.
Your background will show experience of building customer relationships, sound negotiation skills, and effective responses to all new business enquiries. To be effective in the role, you will be IT literate in using Outlook, MS Excel, Word and the Internet. In additional to the negotiable salary, there is a fully expensed car, bonus and a range of benefits.
