Freelance Graduate Recruitment Assessors

We are currently looking for freelance associates to join our pool of assessors to support the work of our RPO delivery centre. The role of Graduate Recruitment Assessor is to represent Pertemps at client assessment centres, assess and select graduates in line with our clients` specifications. We are looking for drive and passion to help us deliver an excellent, high quality selection process to hire the best graduates for our clients.

Our Recruitment Process Outsourcing team provide volume recruitment solutions for a wide variety of clients in the private, public and third sectors. The team design and deliver modular recruitment campaigns including the attraction, selection and assessment of graduates and interns. Our talented assessor pool ensure we can not only provide a diverse range of expertise, skills and experience for our clients across the UK, but also deliver a high quality, professional seamless service.

Scope of work:

– Assess at Graduate/Internship assessment centres representing Pertemps and working to our clients` specific requirements. Often includes Competency Based Interviews, presentation exercises, role plays, group exercises. Depending on timescales and locations this can include an overnight stay
– Facilitation of assessment days – briefing candidates and assessors, coordinating the day/chairing wash up sessions. Ensuring our recruitment team are updated on the outcome of the assessment centre at the end of the day
– Adhere to compliance processes in relation to entry requirements such as legal right to work and pre-employment screening and ensure that all relevant documentation is collected from candidates
– Screening competency based video interviews (home based) – computer/internet access required. Completing evaluation forms and forwarding completed documentation through to our recruitment team on a daily basis
– Conducting and evaluating competency based telephone interviews at pre-arranged time slots (home based) – computer/internet/phone access required. Compiling results and forwarding completed documentation through to our recruitment team on a daily basis
– Sifting application forms and CV`s against rigorous screening criteria (home based) – computer/internet access required – compiling results and forwarding completed documentation through to our recruitment team on a daily basis

Your experience will include:

Essential:

– Extensive knowledge within recruitment and selection including conducting competency based interviews both face to face and over the telephone
– Proven experience using behavioural and competency based assessment tools
– Assessment of candidates at assessment centres – preferably within the graduate market place
– Accurate evaluation of candidate competence with strong written communication, candidate report writing skills and ability to make fair and justified scoring decisions working to specific briefs
– To work effectively as part of a team and build relationships at all levels

– Ability to work in a fast paced environment without compromising on standards of excellence

– Strong work ethic, confident, enthusiastic with a flexible approach

Desirable:

– Assessment/development centre facilitation background
– Level A & or B qualified and/or IPD qualified or equivalent. Hold a relevant degree such as Occupational Psychology
– Experience of video interviewing and using an online video interview package such as Hirevue
– Experience within an in-house or managed service recruitment team
– Experience of an end-to-end recruitment process

Applicants will need to have registered Limited Company status or operate under an Umbrella Company. We are looking for assessors from across the UK.
