Woodwork Assembly

Salary: £26,000 – £29,880 per year

Assembly Operative – Haverhill

Salary Range – £26,000 – £29,880 + shift allowance

40 hr week – rotating shift pattern 6 am to 2 pm and 2 pm to 10 pm

A local company is extremely busy and expanding its team to keep up with the workload. It would suit someone with knowledge and experience of working with wood. You will be working in the milling section as part of a team in a busy environment. Most assembly is light and can be lifted with one hand, heavier items are lifted with colleagues. There could be an opportunity to receive training on CNC machines and progress within the company.

Duties

* Assembling units pre-cut on CNC machines

* Use of hand tools

* Read technical drawings for assembly

* Assembling light elements, heavier elements lifted with colleagues

* Working rotating shift pattern 0600 to 1400 hrs and 1400 to 2200hrs Monday to Friday

* Plenty of overtime for those who want it

Attributes & Skills

* Good work ethic

* Previous woodwork experience

* Able to use hand tools such as pneumatic staple gun and hand drill.

* Can work as part of a team
