Finance Manager

Salary: £48,000 – £55,200 per year

Anderson Knight is recruiting a Finance Manager for a business based in the West Dunbartonshire. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for the reporting function of a particular business unit within the group.

The role is pretty hybrid with three key areas. The first being staff management of around 3 part qualified accountants. It is essential to have previous direct management experience to be considered. The second area is providing business partnering support to a particular business unit, working closely with it’s operations team. The third area is the month-end responsibilities for the business unit.

The main responsibilities the Finance Manager position entails are:

* Direct management of three part-qualified accountants

* Provide business partnering support to operations

* Work with the Business Unit Head to produce annual budgets

* Preparation of annual statutory reports

* Identify any process improvements that can be made

* Preparation of monthly management accounts

To be considered for the Finance Manager position you must possess the following:

* An accountancy qualification (CIMA/CA/ACCA)

* Previous direct management experience

* Strong communication skills

* A proactive approach to work

* The ability to solve complex problems

* An outgoing personality

* A driven/motivated individual
