Finance Manager

Salary: £42,000 – £54,000 per year

Anderson Knight is recruiting a Finance Manager for an established client based in the City Centre of Glasgow. There are parking facilities. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will have four direct reports and ensure the smooth running of the finance team.

Our client is very open to the ideal candidate’s background however the individual must be a fully qualified accountant. The ideal individual will have a practice background although this is not essential to be considered.

The main responsibilities the Finance Manager position entails are:

* Directly manage four members of the finance team

* Work closely with the Financial Controller and Director to ensure the smooth running of the finance function

* Responsible for the preparation and production of monthly management and financial reporting

* Support operations and management on a day to day basis

* Review and improve internal systems and processes

* Various ah-hoc duties including project work

To be considered for the Finance Manager position you must possess the following:

* An accountancy qualification (CIMA/CA/ACCA)

* Strong communication skills

* A proactive approach to work

* The ability to solve complex problems

* An outgoing personality

* A driven/motivated individual
