Salary: £27,600 – £36,000 per year
We have such a great opportunity for an experienced Designer/Artworker to join a passionate, growing Creative Agency based in Leicestershire.
YOUR MISSION:
To craft creative work from initial brief to final delivery with laser-like attention to detail.
THE CORE PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
Create consistently accurate artwork that is delivered to budget and deadline
Deliver best practice to achieve consistently high client satisfaction ratings
Work with team members to deliver clear and intelligent outcomes to client briefs
Support creative application with lateral thinking that is consistent across all media
Lead on all artwork responsibilities, championing best practices and quality control (QC) processes
Manage the entire creative and artwork process from brief through to delivery, liaising with the internal team, suppliers and clients to ensure all work is fit for purpose and the best it can be.
Stay on top of new developments in the creative/marketing industry
WHAT CONSTITUTES SUCCESS IN THE ROLE:
Well-crafted, accurate work delivered to budget and deadline
Time managed efficiently and appropriately documented
All QC processes implemented prior to artwork release
Efficient working practices maintained and championed
A clear and open dialogue with creative and account teams
KEY SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE ROLE:
Commercial skills – Minimum of 2-3 years experience in creative artworker role. Must have strong commercial understanding and experience of (and passion for) working within the creative/marketing industry. Be comfortable working in a fast moving environment with the ability to stay calm under pressure whilst delivering to deadlines.
Communication skills – Will be actively engaged in liaising with colleagues, suppliers and clients at all levels on the telephone, email and face-to-face. Must be a pro-active, confident, clear communicator whose willing to help others. Should have a strong grasp of the English language in written form.
Attention-to-detail – Will have an almost obsessive approach to accuracy of work. Will take huge pride in low error rates
Organisational skills – Will be well organised and demonstrate the ability to prioritise effectively and maximise time. Have excellent time management and be an individual who thrives on working autonomously
Listening skills – Will be a highly effective listener, able to demonstrate this with accurate responses to client briefs and instruction
Technical knowledge – Must have excellent Adobe Creative Suite skills – InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. Have a thorough working knowledge of preparing artwork for both print and digital media.

Attention to detail – Have laser-like attention that can spot a typo at twenty-paces. Have a methodical approach to working practices and processes
Ownership and performance – Will take ownership of all work, ensuring it is correct and fit-for-purpose, challenging where appropriate. Used to having performance measured
Self-starter – Are highly-motivated and passionate with a can-do attitude. Will thrive on working independently under pressure and with minimal instruction or guidance. Are also a team player able to work with others. Must be able to prioritise workloads well
Service – Will have a constant drive to be of service to others
Ethical – Will have a clear understanding of right and wrong, with high integrity and honesty
Focus – Must have the ability to understand and execute briefs given, reading between the lines and applying experience where appropriate
Completer/Finisher – Takes satisfaction in seeing all aspects of work through to a satisfactory conclusion. Fully understands the importance of meeting client expectations and achieving ‘client delight’
Stimulator/Motivator – Has an ability to create enthusiasm and energy in others
