Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and creative person with a strong portfolio to work on a variety of exciting projects helping other businesses fulfil their potential through the application of design, branding, web and mobile solutions.
You will be part of a growing organisation which has a dedicated design team working on user interface and on-screen design that engages the user and delivers real value.

The Web Designer will have:

• Proven Web Design experience, ideally working for an agency
• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
• Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design and wire-framing tools
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping.
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
• Up-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques, and technologies
• BS/MS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interactive Design, or a Visual Arts subject
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

The Web Designer responsibilities:

• Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
• Conceptualise original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
• Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and clients
• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
