Steelwork Designer

We are delighted to be recruiting a Steelwork Designer to join a successful and busy steelwork fabrication business based in Croydon which undertakes various projects ranging from structural steelwork (buildings) through to architectural metalwork (stairs balustrades etc). £54,000 – £72,000 D.O.E. + excellent package.

Steelwork Designer Duties:

•Produce steelwork connection designs to Eurocode/BS standards.

•Produce steel size design / value engineering as required.

•Provide technical design advice to internal Drawing Office as required.

Steelwork Designer Requirements:

•Previous experience designing structural steelwork frame and connection design, preferably working for a steelwork fabricator or associated engineering business.

•Hold a professional engineering qualification.

•Chartered or non-chartered welcome to apply.

•Experience using steelwork design/engineering software packages.
