Salary: £26,000 per year
Sellick Partnership has been engaged to recruit a Fund Administrator, a Senior Fund Administrator and a Fund Accountant for a exciting growing SME business based in Greater Manchester.
Fund Administrator c£18k
* To ensure that all funds are priced in accordance with the Scheme Particulars (Prospectus), FCA Regulations and internal procedures.
* To assist in the accurate maintenance of all Income and Capital records
* To assist in the implementation and on-going development of our fund accounting system
* To assist in the production of prices daily for those funds where we price daily and weekly for those funds which price weekly
* To liaise with the investment adviser for each fund to obtain the required information to enable the prices to be calculated
* To liaise with external and internal sources of data essential for the accurate calculation of prices.
Senior Fund Administrator / Fund Accountant £21k-£25k
* To prepare or check interim and final accounts and financial statements
* To prepare or check interim and final reports
* To check short form reports
* To check long and short form PDF reports
* To prepare or check factor calculations
* To assist in the processing of new regulatory requirements
* To identify potential problems and to bring those to the attention of the Head of Department
* To look for ways in which internal procedures can be improved and to bring those to the attention of the Section Head
The person
* 5 GCSE’s Grade A-C (minimum including Mathematics and English Language) – essential
* Completion or working towards AAT qualification (or a higher accountancy qualification) – essential
* Completion or working towards an IOC (Investment Operations Certificate) qualification (desirable).
* Experience of working in an accounts environment.
* Computing skills, proven ability to use the Microsoft Office suite, in particular Microsoft Excel
* Ability to work effectively in a busy office environment and meet deadlines
* Clear communication skills – spoken and written
* Good time keeping, excellent attendance and health records
