Magento Developer – PHP – Nottingham – upto £30k (DOE)

My client is looking for a lead Magento Developer – PHP to join their development team, working on a wide range of eCommerce projects as part of an expert team of developers. This will see the Magento Developer – PHP impart their own Magento knowledge but allow you to learn new technologies and methodologies.

The Magento Developer be an experienced PHP developer with an in-depth knowledge of Magento and a number of deployments under their belt. The Magento Developer – PHP will be equally comfortable building skins from bespoke Photoshop designs as you are building small extensions. The Magento Developer – PHP will need to have good written and verbal communication skills as regular client contact will be required.

Magento Developer – PHP essential skills:

·3 years commercial PHP OO & MySQL

·2 years’ experience with Magento development

·An understanding of the performance issues and solutions surrounding Magento

·HTML, CSS & JavaScript/JQuery

·Excellent communication skills are essential

·Ability to understand and work to tech specs

Nice to have skills:

·Experience with a range of payment processing solutions

·Experience of running Magento on nginx
