Steelwork Detailer

Salary: £42,000 – £54,000 per year

Structural steelwork Draughtsman required. To have experience using Tekla CAD software to join a very well established steelwork fabrication business based in the Coventry region.

Structural Draughtsman duties include:
Working from Engineers/ Architects / Layout drawings – using Tekla CAD software to detail a range of steelwork structures – portal frames, beam and stick projects etc.
Produce fabrication & GA drawings, material lists etc. from the 3D Tekla model.

Produce all material lists, erection plans, CAM data etc.
Communicate internally and externally as required with reference to RFIs/TQs etc.
Work on your own projects independently as well as part of a team as required.

Structural Draughtsman requirements:
Previous experience working as a steelwork Draughtsman is essential – a minimum of 5 years is required.
Experience using Tekla CAD software is essential for this role with a history of producing steelwork fabrication drawings for similar structures to above. Experience detailing cold rolled.

Looking for full time PAYE employment within a commutable distance of Coventry.

Excellent salary range £42,000 – £54,000plus O/T rates- negotiable and D.O.E.
