MAINTENANCE MANAGER
OVERVIEW:
A fantastic opportunity has just opened for a maintenance manager for my client based in Northamptonshire. They are a well-established company that are currently looking for a maintenance manager to come on board to grow and progress the current engineering team. This is an opportunity that should not be missed out on – My client has huge plans for expansion as well as career development.
THE ROLE OF A MAINTENANCE MANAGER:
The maintenance manager will be responsible for 30+ within the engineering department. The role is 100% hands off so days to day duties will consist of; budget control, continuous improvement, coaching and development on the engineering team, KPI’S and lean manufacturing principles.
KEY SKILLS:
The maintenance manager will need to hold an engineering qualification and have experience previously working as a maintenance/engineering manager within a manufacturing industry. It is also important that the manager is electrically and mechanically competent. The manager is expected to have a strong work ethic and able to influence and lead teams using best practice in order for maximum success.
