Maintenance Fitter

My Client is a mushroom farm based in Doncaster, they produce mushroom compost in a heavily mechanised modern production facility, situated on a 30 acre site just outside Bawtry.
The process operates 7 days per week and operations are supported by a small 3 man maintenance team, supported by external contractors.
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a maintenance fitter to join the team.

Nature of Role:
.To work as part of an engineering team dedicated to providing engineering support to operations 7 days per week.

.There successful applicant should have the capacity to problem solves/think on their feet to manager mechanical issues that arise, be able to carry out thorough routine preventative maintenance to a prescribed method and contribute to making improvements to the operation of the business.

.Applicants should either have an industrial or agricultural engineering background, but should ideally be used to working on large scale machinery outdoors. You must be able to read English to a satisfactory level and be able to speak English to a good conversational level.

Own transport is essential.

The working hours are 48 per week 6am-6pm including weekends. The role is on a temporary to permanent basis following on from a successful probationary period of 3 months you will be taken on permanent by the client.
