Responsibilities

Being a people centric business requires excellent employee relations and levels of engagement. You’re at the core of this as you provide frontline support to our managers and employees, offering guidance and championing our people policies and procedures. Working closely with the Head of People Services you assist in the delivery and roll-out of strategies and projects that build on our culture and enables a supportive high-performance working environment.

You’re methodical and process driven in the administration of our people data, producing key metrics, and offering insight into challenges and opportunities for improvement. You’ll champion employee engagement driving initiatives such as our employee forum and company communications. Wellbeing is important to us so you’ll use your HR skills coupled with empathy and understanding to support our employees and managers through difficult times.

Requirements

CIPD level 5 or equivalent
A minimum 3 years’ experience as a Generalist HR Advisor
Good working knowledge of employment legislation
Strong commercial awareness to understand the needs of the business
Autonomous and self-sufficient, confident and able to drive initiatives through to conclusion.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal including ability to build rapport and maintain effective relationships
Be able to juggle a busy, diverse workload, managing time and workload effectively.
Proactive problem solving and decision making skills
Intermediate excel skills including the use of core mathematical and analytical functions.
Comfortable with manipulating sets of confidential data with ability to be able to provide insights into key trends and observations
Flexible attitude, collaborative
Accuracy and attention to detail essential along with honesty, integrity
