Employee Relations Advisor

Salary: £33,600 – £36,000 per year

Dedicate Recruitment is seeking to appoint an experienced ER Advisor for a large education group in East Kent. As a specialist on all Employee Relations matters within the organisation, the role underpins the teaching work providing seamless services to ensure both learners and staff have a quality learning experience every day.

Working closely with the ER Partner, the postholder will act as a specialist advisor on all ER matters within the group for complex employment issues. The central remit of the role is to:

Provide an effective and efficient case management service to ensure that cases are dealt with in a legally and procedurally compliant fair and timely manner.

Coach and advise staff and managers to achieve resolution of ER matters at the earliest opportunity, providing support, guidance, and training to managers to help develop their people management skills and their understanding of policies, procedures and best practice.

Build a strong body of ER knowledge using key resources and use this research to lead ER best practice.

Project manage formal case investigations and hearings on behalf of Principals and Directors, including identifying investigating officers, arranging interviews and panels for hearings, and ensuring findings are reported and communicated in a timely and appropriate manner.

The successful candidate will be CIPD qualified, with experience of working within a similar large complex organisation. You can demonstrate a successful track record of leading on and managing complex individual and organization wide case work issues coupled with a good working knowledge of UK employment law.

You will have strong organisational and communication skills, able to present to a diverse range of people at all levels within the organisation. A team player who enables a cohesive and positive working environment.
