Electrical CAD Design Engineer

Salary: £42,000 – £50,400 per year

MPC Resourcing requires electrical design engineers for various work around Scotland for permanent positions.

A perfect chance for a hardworking, cad design engineers who is keen to broaden their horizons and potentially work their way up in a top engineering firm. Who are leading the day with regards to Mechanical, Electrical and design engineering.

You will be supporting projects and following the lead of a project manager. There will be a design team around you who are attempting to create the most efficient water treatment systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design and develop new products, adding to our product range on offer
• Providing support of a technical nature to customers. This will require site visits.
• Production and maintenance of technical documentation. This includes 3D CAD models, 2D CAD drawings, DXF files for laser cutting, bills of materials, technical specifications, test data, etc.
• Ensure that the design meets the specific requirements of the customer. 

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years experience in Electrical Engineering and within a manufacturing environment. 
• Vast experience with electrical design software.
• Strong background in CAD and preferably familiar with both Solidworks 2D/3D Modelling and AutoCAD 2D.

Requirements 

• Minimum HNC / HND in Electrical Engineering or similar.
