Junior Estimator

Salary: £60,000 – £84,000 per year

Mansion Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Junior Estimator for one of our clients based in Essex.
Our client is a very well established and sucessful drylining contractor whom are looking for an Junior Estimator to join their expanding commercial department.
Due to business growth an oppotunity has arisen for a Junior Estimator to join the team based close to Chelmsford in Essex. Our clients area of works are, drylinging, suspended ceilings, partitioning, glass partitioning, joineryand fire protection.
Their projects include the following sectors commercial offices, hotels, Education, Retail, Leisure, Airports, Healthcare and Industrial. commercial offices, hotels, Education, Retail, Leisure, Airports, Healthcare and Industrial, which takes them across London and surrounding Home Counties.
These are a few Key responsibilities you will learn and be working on as a junior estimator.
Assisting Estimating Manager
Produce valuations and project estimates
It is essential to have the knowledge and confidence to be able to take site measurements and pricing and tenders
Identify changes to works information
Costing variations
Understanding of quality control, material scheduling etc
Subcontract account management
Cost reporting
This role would suit some body looking for a long term career opportunity and looking to make a day to day impact on the business they are working for.
You will ideally have some experience or knowledge of estimating but will consider candidates in certain areas from an interiors or construction background.
Salary will be based on experience.
