Salary: £66,000 per year
The Client
Fully experienced in providing all aspects of building engineering services, our client offers design through to maintenance packages for their clients projects nationwide. They are recruiting for an Electrical Project Engineer and ideally you will have solar PV installation experience as the position will entail the management of a significant 4MW Solar PV installation. These panels will be on high level panels above a car park and you will liaise directly with the client and be responsible for all aspects of the MEP delivery.
The Role and its Responsibilities
* Ordering and managing the install of all associated works and ensuring the cost of the job is met
* Support all technical aspects of the electrical installation
* Interpret and adapt designs
* Work compatably alongside a Mechanical Project Engineer
* Reporting to the Project Manager
* Ensure all work is carried out in a safe manner and as in contracts
* Regularly attend meetings with the client and keep your PM updated
* Keep the ongoing project to cost and time allocation and understand the budget of the project at any given time
* Management of sub-contractors
* Commercial awareness within the role
* Knowledge of industry legislation
* Health and Safety knowledge up to date
* Experience with supply chain and contacts
The Individual
The client is looking for a candidate with HV, Solar and MEP experience within the built environment and there is an opportunity to continue on the project as further works come on line.
Skills and Qualifications
* HNC/HND in Building Services Engineering, or equivalent
* Role experience on a wide range of projects
* Several years’ experience in a Project Engineer role
* CSCS card
Salary and Package
Salary up to £66,000 plus car/allowance and company benefits.
