Contracts Manager

Salary: £120 – £420 per day

Contracts Manager – Telford and Surrounding area

Within our expansion a new opportunity has been created for a Contracts Manager with experience in new build apartments and housing or similar (hotel’s, care home’s, student accommodation) in the continued development of a new sector with our organisation. 

As a Contracts Manager you will deliver new build apartments and residential schemes across the cities of the UK. With a secured work load this is an excellent opportunity to join and have influence within a growing sector offering further progression for an individual with an ambitious attitude. 

Contracts Manager duties

Manage multiple new build projects ranging from £1 – £5 million

New build apartments and housing schemes, or similar (hotel’s, care home’s, student accommodation)

Manage a team of Site Managers. 

Liaise with Project Manger’s

Work with Quantity Surveyors / Estimator to deliver projects 

Assist if possible or have an active part in recruitment in this developing team.

This is intended to be an autonomous department within an established division.

Experienced in new build apartments or housing (hotel’s, care home, student accommodation) is essential

As Contracts Manager you will be based in the office but travel to site.

Deliver circa £30m p.a. with a growing team.

Capable of design and detail specification review.

Responsible for implementation and monitoring of health & safety systems.

Capable of client management and development.

Responsible for high quality above industry standard finish on which we insist.

Oversee material procurement and scheduling.

Able to resource projects form internal and own contacts.

Management of Sub Contractors.

Reporting to director/ board level.

Manage drawing and information distribution both internal and external.

SMSTS, CSCS blue/black, First Aid 3 day, PASMA. 

Would ideally suit a Contracts Manager who has experience of managing new build apartments or similar (hotel’s, care home’s, student accommodation)
