Salary: £26,000per year
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Housing Officer to join its Housing team, operating within the Northamptonshire area.
As the first point of contact for clients regarding their accommodation with Mayday Trust, you will ensure an effectively managed ‘portfolio’ of accommodation is provided complying with current policies and procedures. Your role will ensure properties are kept in a good condition and well maintained. Previous management experience is desirable as the successful candidate will manage two Housing Assistants. The Housing Officer is required to be part of the on-call rota.
You will have relevant Housing or a customer service qualification or at least 2 years equivalent experience of working within a similar role. Experience of Housing Management practice and knowledge of Housing legislation & welfare benefit legislation is essential.
Candidates must be able to travel across sites and therefore should have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
