3rd Line Infrastructure Support Engineer – London-£360 – £450 P/D – VMWare, Citrix XenApp

The purpose of the role will be to manage infrastructure support within the company’s ICT department. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor helpdesk calls, ensuring they are dealt with in a timely fashion; installing, maintaining and upgrading hardware and software; liaising with suppliers and users, and negotiating pricing for any new equipment or license renewals; and taking the forefront in assisting the Infrastructure Manager with any Projects within the ICT department.

* Windows 7 and Server 2008R2/2012R2
* VMWare ESX 5.5
* Microsoft Office 2010
* Microsoft Exchange 2010
* Xenapp 6.5
* Backup Exec 2014
* Networking experience (e.g Cisco)

Microsoft Certifications and a VCP would also be highly beneficial to your application as well as experience working within an ITIL environment. You will be able to communicate technical concepts to non-technical colleagues, and be driven, self-motivated and accountable for your own work load.
