Our client, a leading manufacturing / engineering organisation, has an opportunity for a Service Desk Support Administrator to join their Systems team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has experience in a Service Desk role and a proven track record of successfully delivering quality product/service support. Responsibilities include 2nd/3rd line support, daily checks on the system, identifying and resolving network issues and identifying system improvement. The product is well established and due to being used in a niche market, you will be dealing issues from a potential 250 users per day.

We are ideally looking for someone who has good experience in network protocols and is technically able. The salary offered is open to discussion at application stage.

Due to the nature of the companies work, candidates must be eligible to obtain SC clearance.

Service Desk Administrator Requirements:
-Excellent communications skills
-Able to work well within a small team
– Good Knowledge of TCP/IP network
– 2nd line support experience

Desirables:
-3rd line support experience
– Knowledge of virtualisation (Hyper V)
– Knowledge of Cisco networks
– Knowledge of Cisco firewalls
-Safety Critical, Defence or Nuclear background
