Field Mobile Deployment Engineer – Sheffield

A fast growing provider of IT and telecommunication services are seeking experienced Field Mobile Deployment Engineer to build, configure and rollout a new line of Windows Mobile phones across multiple customer locations in the UK. Working in a team of four you will be Sheffield based initially for a period of 2 weeks to carry out new phone builds, the following four weeks will include travel across multiple UK offices for the phone rollout. Overnight accomodation and travel costs will be covered.

You will be required to cover Monday to Friday in various locations so MUST have your own vehicle.

Key responsibilities:

* The firs t two weeks of the project will require you to build Windows Lumia 640 smart phones whilst following a detailed set of build instructions, this part of the contract will be fully office based in Sheffield.
* The remaining four weeks of the project will be to visit their offices across various UK locations, including but not limited to – Birmingham, Glasgow, Leeds, London and Manchester, where you will complete device swap-out activities with end users.
* Handing over the device; providing users with a basic overview of the device; assisting users with basic set-up tasks.

Required Experience:

* Experience of working in a customer-facing IT Support environment.
* You will be required to cover Monday to Friday in various locations so MUST have your own vehicle.

* To be familiar with Windows phones, able to carefully follow build instructions.
* To have a good manner working with users at all levels at the firm on the swap-out activities.
* Willing to travel and stay over night at various UK locations.
