• South England- Southampton/ Salisbury / Guildford

Role –

The Medical Engineer / Technical Support Engineer / Field Based Engineer will be responsible for the support and maintenance of existing device products used in NHS and private hospitals as well as the ‘roll out’ and implementation of equipment at new customer sites. The position involves maintenance and general support across hardware and software with responsibility for ensuring service agreements are adhered to. The nature of this position means that on occasion successful applicants will be required to stay away from home overnight.

Requirements as follows –

• Candidates will be experienced field service engineers from the medical device or associated markets.
• Degree in technical engineering or technical education with sound technical knowledge
• At least four years’ experience in a Technical Service position – FIELD BASED – with exposure to medical devices or similar products.
• Technical aptitude to understand, train customers and users on products Excellent mastery of English
• Flexibility to travel and willingness to overnight
• Ability to work autonomously in a constantly changing environment. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Capacity to manage time constraints
• Demonstrated computer & basic networking skills

• Driving license
