Service Advisor

Salary: £26,400 – £30,000 per year

Total Vehicle Solutions Group are experiencing a huge period of growth and have a fantastic order book for 2022 already.

With four sites based across the UK, and over 50 years of combined trading history within the commercial vehicle market, they are synonymous with the design, manufacture and delivery of a wide range of solutions to the construction, logistics and commercial fleet market.

Following a period of investment, and the restructure of the businesses within its group, they are looking to hire two new Service Advisors to join their Customer Service team.

Based at their site in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, your role will be to provide support to customers on a variety of processes and enquiries.

As the first point of contact to our growing customer base, you will prioritise your workload to ensure that the clients are kept up to date on new builds and customisations, provide timely feedback on customer queries and ongoing support with availability of materials, parts and systems required to complete the jobs they undertake.

Reporting into the Customer Service Team Leader, you will have at least 2-5 years’ experience in a service advisor position within a relevant industry, along with extensive knowledge of customer service processes.

A background in the commercial vehicle or dealership market would be preferred, although customer service work within an engineering and manufacturing background would also be considered.

TVS Group are a fast-paced organisation, with ambitious plans for this year and next, and several companywide modernisation projects currently ongoing. As consequence, individuals who can be dynamic and work without supervision are preferred, mainly due to the need for them to be able to manage several customers at once. Managing multiple customer queries and orders, with the ability to build rapport is key, but also the maturity of when to escalate an issue internally is imperative.
