Audio Visual Field Service Engineer (Residential)
We are looking for Freelance Audio Visual Field Service Engineer with installation experience in the residential sector of AV. You will be required to work on high profile projects in the homes of the rich and famous, apartments, penthouses, yachts and more.
Our client is a leader in the residential home automation market and have consistently delivered projects to the highest standard. The role of service engineer will see you attending clients` homes and maybe overseas to service / maintain systems as well as performing preventative maintenance checks to comply with agreed SLAs, most of the projects will be in London and the South East.
Required skills and experience:
• Faultfinding of audio visual systems to a high level, under pressure
• Preventative maintenance of client owned equipment
• Networking knowledge
• Communicate identified faults in a clear and concise manner to our clients
• Good all-round technical knowledge.
• 1st fix & 2nd fix & commissioning
• AMX/Crestron control system knowledge
• Lutron Lighting
• Crestron/Crestron DM
• Plasma/LCD
• Multi room audio
• Rack Build
• Patch Panel
• Digital Media Systems
• High & low level fixings
• Cable/kit testing
• Cable pulling
• Terminating of all current cables and connectors
• Wiring of all cables
