Calibre Search are looking for M&E Surveyors to work for a well-known MEP Consultancy on a programme of works across the UK. This is a UK wide multi-year PFI contract which will provide you with plenty of work if you are willing to travel and work away from home over the next few years. Initially, the role will see you working in Edinburgh for an initial 2 to 3 week period with the option to then move onto other contracts locally or further afield.
You will be looking at all aspects of HVAC and Electrical installations to record information about its current maintenance needs and future life span as an M&E Surveyor in Edinburgh. You will need to record data about mechanical and electrical assets coupled with grading about replacement needs. You will be performing the role of an M&E Surveyor using an IPad and industry used Software, so you need to be fluent with using an IPad and having done surveys of this nature before.

We are looking for someone who is either electrically biased with mechanical knowledge or vice-versa. In either case, you must be:
– Fluent with carrying out Asset Management surveys
– Fluent with carrying out Condition surveys
– Fluent with carrying out Lifecycle Reports
– Have experience of surveying Schools, Hospitals, Public Buildings etc

In addition the following criteria is desired as an M&E Surveyor, although not entirely essential.
– Able to use an iPad and an IPad based survey program, if you have your own IPad that would be beneficial.
– Hold a recent Enhanced DBS check

The rates quoted are for working as a limited company and Calibre Search has its own PAYE facility if that is preferred.
