Early in Career Recruitment Partner

Salary: £42,000 – £48,000 per year

We are adding to our Talent Acquisition team! Are you passionate about early in career hiring? Are you motivated by an integral role to our talent pipelining? The role will focus on Graduate, Apprentice and other initiatives that support our plans to develop talent for future success and growth at SCC, across various parts of the business.

What will you be doing?

• Liaise key stakeholders within SCC to develop a strategy to support growth of recruiting people into via the Apprenticeship and Graduate programmes
• Collaborating with hiring managers on defining an inclusive job description and advising on suitable sourcing strategies to attract the best talent.
• Identify new and utilise inclusive sourcing channels to reach and engage with talent.
• Conduct initial screening/qualification with candidates to assess skills and suitability for positions. This can include online/telephone/Teams etc.
• Handling all offer management and negotiation with selected candidates.
• Represent SCC through social media initiatives and external events to attract talent.
• Preparing accurate reports and feedback to Recruitment Manager and key stakeholders within the business

What will you bring to the role?

• Proven experience in a recruitment environment with a strong track record of achievement in your previous roles
• Ability to be organised and able to work autonomously. You should be a self-motivated, self-starter with drive, energy and an eye for detail.
• A good understanding of Apprenticeship and Graduate schemes
• Experience of building and developing relationships
• Ability to communicate with candidates and confidence to discuss benefits and delivery within the Early in Career model.
• An ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
