Recruitment Advisor

My client is a leading international academic publishing company who are currently recruiting a Recruitment Advisor to join their busy Human Resources team based in Milton Park. Reporting to the Global Resourcing Manager this role will support Hiring Managers across the business through their recruitment journeys, developing effective candidate attraction and assessment plans.

Responsibilities include:
• Working with Hiring Managers to develop effective recruitment plans for candidate attraction, including assisting in the writing of job adverts and partnering with managers to design and deliver effective assessment methods.
• Identifying opportunities for combined resourcing activities across the business when there are multiple roles of a similar nature.
• Delivering the induction program to new employees on a weekly basis.
• Actively promoting live vacancies across social media channels, in addition to upskilling and supporting Hiring Managers on the use of social media.
• Liaising with recruitment agencies and passing on relevant information relating to roles.
• Ensuring the company recruitment process is adhered to by Hiring Managers, including ensuring appropriate legislation and company policy are followed.
• Representing the business at job fairs and career events across local and national Universities.
• Supporting the design and implementation of Internship and Apprenticeship schemes for the UK business.
• Supporting the Global Resourcing Manager on ad-hoc projects as required.

The ideal candidate will possess:
• Previous experience of partnering with business stakeholders to support recruitment activities, ideally within a multinational organisation.
• Previous experience of direct candidate attraction across a range of social media channels with proven experience of sourcing candidates for challenging roles.
• Knowledge of recruitment best practice and appropriate legislation pertinent to recruitment.
• Strong customer focus, with proven experience of building strong working relationships and delivering results.
• Excellent time management with the ability to balance multiple priorities.
• Attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft software packages, including Excel and MS Word. Experience of e-recruitment systems would be advantageous.

My client is offering a salary of £42,000 plus 25 days holiday per annum, a comprehensive benefits package and company pension scheme.
