Freelance Project Manager – Residential Developer – South London

Based: On site, South London
Duration: 12 months / Temp to perm
Rate: £330 – £360 per day

Our client, a residential developer is looking for a Project Manager to work on part of their new build scheme located in South London. You will be managing a side-project which involves the fit out and refurbishment of 14 existing commercial units into residential plots.

This is a logistically challenging job as the plots will need to be adapted structurally, including reallocation of amenities, floor plan adaptions, cladding alternations and the addition of balconies. All of the works will be carried out in the vicinity of populated apartments of a high value, so any excess noise, disruption and visible untidiness must be kept to an absolute minimum.

You will have the support of the existing management hierarchy but will be expected to manage the project yourself from a pre-construction stage. You will be allocated a Quantity Surveyor, a Technical Co-Ordinator and a Site Manager to assist you with the works which should last roughly 12 months.

Candidates must have an in date SMSTS, CSCS and 1st aid certificate, and must be available to interview and start work within 4 weeks. This is a freelance opportunity, and based on performance you will be considered for a permanent position within the company.
