Product Development Manager – London (hybrid remote working) – £30k – £35k + benefits
Our client is a well-established retail company based in London, due to growth and expansion in retails stores and online sales they are now looking to recruit a Product Development Manager.
As the Product Development Manager, you will take ownership for the entire product range, managing and coordinating product development projects, product cycle process focusing on retail and direct to consumer products across multiple product categories. We are looking for a Product Development Manager for our 3rd party/licensed products.
This is a full-time, permanent role and can be remote.
What the role will involve:
* Being responsible for the development and successful execution of new products
* Bringing products to launch at the quickest speed without compromising on quality and managing the products’ life cycle
* Liaising with various stakeholders from suppliers, test houses, IP attorneys and various internal departments.
* Being accountable for overall development of scope and delivery of project milestones and goals, along with launch plans.
* Working closely with the Manufacturing and Quality teams to design, technology, development, vendor, and execution strategy.
What we are looking for:
* Previous experience project managing the launch of new products
* Proven experience of collaborative working across functions and teams with excellent problem-solving ability.
* Good knowledge in the design and testing process for new products.
* Skilled in controlling projects and in adhering to plans and budgets, as well as data analysis and progress reports.
* Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Proficiency in managing product processes from conception to sale.
* Competent IT skills, across Microsoft packages
