Cisco Network Engineer

Cisco Network Engineer – £40k – Droitwich, Worcestershire

The IT Network Engineer will be responsible for design, implementation and third line support of a large range of hosted and locally deployed infrastructure solutions mainly Cisco based. You will be deploying and building Cisco networks so this experience is required.

You will set up Cisco ASA Firewalls, inbound and outbound NAT’s as well as setting up management access. With regards to switching, you will also configure interfaces on switches, setting up trunk/ duplex and spanning trees also. You will ideally have Nexus switches experience.

IT Network Engineer will require commercial experience of:
Cisco
Nexus experience is vital
Network and server security
IPS/IDS
Supporting VoIP
Cisco network switches

Additional knowledge in the following would be an advantage:
Linux scripting
SOC or NOC experience

This position is commutable from Droitwich, Birmingham, Hereford, Cheltenham, Kidderminster, Gloucester, Worcester and surrounding areas.
