Doosan CNC Operator

I have an exciting vacancy for an experienced Doosan CNC Lathe setter, operator and programmer to join my growing client in Narborough.

Duties;

Working with our cnc team to produce components on our 4 axis cnc lathe

Doosan 2600Y – X, Z, Y & C axis machine

Experience and skills;

*Proven ability to manufacture a wide range of piece parts using a range of materials
*Proven ability to programme components on machines using Fanuc G code

*Must be able to understand existing CNC programs and create new ones for newly developed products
*Must be able to upload / download programs, set up datum’s and tool offsets and operate the machine until batch completion
*Must be able to identify tool and work holding requirements for jobs
*Ability to monitor tool wear, adjust offsets and replace inserts when necessary to ensure correct operation of the machine
*Ability to maintain and service machine tools
*Ability to recognize, solve and implement required changes for machining related problems
*Experience of working in a workshop environment
*Ability to work in a team and use own initiative
*Ability to work to deadlines
*A high level of Organization and communication skills
