Company & Project: An established Top 50 Main Contractor operating in the Commercial, Defence, Education and Mixed-Use sectors on are seeking to recruit an experience Project Quantity Surveyor to join their successful Commercial team working on a key Defence project win in the local area. 

This will offer an excellent opportunity for a talented Quantity Surveyor to join a business that invests in it’s employees and has a rewarding benefits package alongside strong pipeline of work. 

The business is recognised for its employee focus and long-term stable history, with many of the senior management and employees working for the business for many years. 

Duties & Responsibilities: The successful candidate will take responsibility for daily commercial management functions, including but not limited to; measurement & valuations, applications for payment, reconciling accounts, dealing with sub-contract orders and enquiries, through to practical completion of the project and settling final accounts. The role is working a number of key packages on a major project. 

Desirable Experience: 

• c5 years+ experience as a Quantity Surveyor working for a Main Contractor.
• Good communication skills and team player. 
• Experience working in a live project environment.
• Experience with procurement of subcontractors would be advantageous. 
• Previous Roles: Assistant Quantity Surveyor OR Quantity Surveyor OR Senior Quantity Surveyor OR Project Quantity Surveyor

Qualifications & Skills: Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management or comparable qualification.
