Engineering Manager – Logistics (Automated Distribution)
The Company
Cordius is partnering with a major British based, multinational retailer. They specialise in luxury clothing and have been trading for over 100 years. Being a constituent of the FTSE 100 they employ several thousand people and are well known for offering a competitive benefits package.
The Role
After continual development of their infrastructure there are positions available in the South Essex area. A larger dependency on Ecommerce sales means they have moved a large deal of their logistics in house. This role calls for a Site Engineering Manager to control third party contracts including in-house maintenance, facilities maintenance and forklift maintenance. Responsibilities include
Management of waste, canteen, cleaning, security contractors etc
Management of in-house and third party staff
Organising training
Coordinating efforts and reporting on system performance
Control of department budgets
Location: Essex
Salary: £60,000+ Car + Benefits
The Candidate
The ideal applicant will have the following attributes
Self-motivated and focused
Educated to apprenticeship level
Experience of engineering management in an automated warehouse environment
NEBOSH certificate holder
