Finance Transformation Analyst

Salary: £42,000 – £54,000 per year

Anderson Knight is working with a client to recruit a Finance Transformation Analyst. The role can be based either in Glasgow, Edinburgh or Perth. This is an exciting new opportunity central to leading the delivery of a long-term transformation programme. Reporting into the Head of Finance, you will work closely with business stakeholders to translate business needs into object requirements understanding what is needed and how this can be achieved.

The role will be pivotal in shaping the future of the finance function and is an excellent opportunity to lead and support finance teams through a period of exciting transformation. This is a 12-month FTC position however it is very likely this will be extended far past the original 12 months.

The main responsibilities the Finance Transformation Analyst position entails are:

* Delivering on programme assignments which will include, optimising processes throughout the finance function, delivering technology change and delivering end to end finance data management solution

* Understanding business models and help translate this into business requirements

* Monitoring the effectiveness of projects on a day-to-day basis, using specialist knowledge to make operational improvements as opportunities permit

* Ensuring timely escalation & control of risks, issues, dependencies and timelines

In order to be considered for the role you must possess the following:

* An accountancy qualification (CIMA/CA/ACCA)

* Strong communication skills

* A proactive approach to work

* The ability to solve complex problems

* An outgoing personality

* A driven/motivated individual

In return our client is offering a competitive package with a performance related bonus. It is very likely the contract will be extended past the 12-month period.
