Salary: £33,600 – £36,000 per year

ROLE PURPOSE:

The Food & Beverage Retail Manager will promote and maintain a culture which delivers the highest operational standards which exceed performance and guest expectations through a culture of excellence. You will be responsible for driving, financial success, guest service and maximising the Bar and Coffee Shop and the Restaurant’s potential.

You will nurture an environment that allows your team to perform at their best through high performance and high fulfilment and creating memories for our guests and giving our team opportunities of a lifetime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directs, leads and coaches the team’s activities within the Bar, Coffee Shop and Restaurant to ensure all areas of responsibilities are covered
  • Takes ownership of the Bar, Coffee Shop and Restaurant, monitoring consistent delivery of a quality Warner experience in line with the Warner Brand Standards and continually looking and learning to develop your venue.
  • Confidently deals with guest concerns with the ability to resolve problems, showing empathy and understanding continually looking to improvise with opportunities our guests provide.
  • Monitors guest insights, using feedback to drive a culture of improvement.
  • Effectively projects for guest demand, monitoring speed of service and is proactive in arranging appropriate resource/support to ensure the guest experience is not affected
  • Demonstrates and role models a commitment to delivering a superior guest experience in everything that you do
  • Takes responsibility to ensure all team are always adhering to the Warner Brand Standards including appearance standards
  • Supporting with Duty Manager shifts across the hotel and reviewing all areas are adhering to Warner Brand Standards, policies and guidelines to ensure are delivering a superior guest experience
  • Supporting the Hotel by carrying out any other duties as requested. 
  • Create an environment where every team member is encouraged to never stop looking and learning to perform at their best through an understanding of the 5 critical questions in Performance with Fulfilment
  • Continually provides feedback and coaching to all team, conducts regular Coffee Chats and reviews
  • Allocates a Buddy for all new team members, conducts coffee chats in line with Warner’s 90-day induction programme
  • Supports, encourages and monitors all new team with their journey
  • Uses SMART to set team and individual goals and Personal Development Plans (PDP’s) supporting them through coaching and guiding them to achieve goals using the Warner’s Way of Leading Models.
  • Identifies talent nurturing them through continuous coaching
  • Nurtures a high-performance culture where everyone’s contributions are recognised, where talent thrives and rewarding careers are built
  • Identifies and selects exceptional talent through structured interviews
  • Monitors, coaches and feeds back on team member performance and follows through when issues arise
  • Takes responsibility with the organisation and roll out of departmental training activities, including compliance training, uses Cornerstone to monitor progress
