Position – Managing Surveyor
Location – London, East London
Salary Expectation – £81,600 – £90,000(depending on experience) plus car, fuel card and package
The Client
Our client is a new contractor within the construction industry who have been trading for 3 years and turnover £85million currently and they will be splitting into regions potentially next year when they hit £100million turnover. They build quality not quantity, this has been instilled from the Directors whom are ex Laing’s.
They build a mixed of new build private residential and new social housing mixed use schemes within the M25. The client is looking for a Managing Surveyor to work on 2 different projects valued at £62million and £52million in London and East London.
The Position
I’m looking to speak to a Managing Surveyor who has proven experience in this field with either a Social Housing Contractor or Main Contractor. You will need to have the experience of running new build project between the values of £30-50 million. You will need good knowledge of the building process and successful managers will have to show knowledge of showing repeated project experience starting projects from inception through to handover. RC frame, Timber Frame, Lightweight Steel are all aspect which you will need knowledge of and a stable work experience is essential. Being able to re-measure is also a skill you will need. Freelance or contracting managers will not be successful for this position.
