Assistant Team Leader required for the Document Scanning / Processing and Data Entry Team with a Global Company based in Wooton Bassett, Swindon, Wiltshire.

Salary: £26,000per year+Benefits

WORKING HOURS: 40 Hours per Week (23:00 – 07:30)

JOB OVERVIEW

We have an excellent new opportunity for an Assistant Team Leader that has fast and accurate keyboard skills, data entry / document scanning / processing experience and team lead / management experience.

Working as the Document Scanning / Processing and Data Entry Assistant Team Leader you will supervise and monitor the work of the data capture team. This will also involve providing hands on support to the team and regular liaison with the Data Capture Manager.

As the Assistant Team Leader you also cover for and assist all members of the data capture team as and when necessary, and will have direct line management responsibility for the team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deal with clients in a professional manner while proactively supervising all daily data capture functions, ensuring that all agreed service levels and service standards are met and complied with

• Daily supervision and administration of staff, including work allocation, monitoring of performance, coaching and monitoring staff absence and time keeping

• Preparation of the staff roster system to ensure a fully flexible and effective staffing approach is maintained during all working periods, ensuring that all staff receive reasonable notice of shift schedules and amendments where possible

• Regular appraisals of staff against clear objectives, leading to the identification of training and development needs

• Develop staff to provide a flow of capable messengers and supervisors

• Ensure that all complaints are dealt with in the correct manner and that the Line Manager is informed immediately should any service complaints be reported

• Preparation and accurate completion of all services paperwork for inclusion within the monthly site report

• Ensure that any other reasonable tasks or requests are fulfilled to the appropriate service standards required as and when they arise

IDEAL CANDIDATES

The ideal candidate will display knowledge and experience of the following:

• Experience working within a document processing/scanning environment

• Data Entry experience

• High attention to detail

• Fast accurate keyboard skills

• Excellent leadership skills, allowing them to develop a high service culture

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Monitoring, recording and reporting performance targets for the team and individuals

• The ability to develop and maintain excellent customer relationships

• Intermediate IT skills – Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Databases, Email and Web
