Compliance Officer (Insurance)
Location – Kent
Salary – £30,000 – £42,000+ Benefits based on experience
Award winning and entrepreneurial insurance company with a strong presence in the UK motor insurance market are currently seeking to attract a talented Data Protection Officer to join the team in Kent, due to the groups continued growth and expansion.
As a Compliance Officer you will also be responsible for undertaking compliance monitoring reviews with Insurance departments, brokers and support businesses as well as providing advice and support to all business areas on Financial Services and Data Protection compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with FCA and data protection legislation is in place for the group
Provide advice on compliance issues
Assist with investigations into complaints and breaches
Review and implement policies and training working with training department
Keep registers up to date
Assist with compliance monitoring reviews
Assist the insurance retail department with TCF compliance
Assist retail insurance department with complaints recording and resolution
Assist retail insurance department with financial services and anti money laundering compliance
Providing compliance support and advice to the group
Deputise for the Compliance Manager
Key Skills and Knowledge:
Experience in financial services compliance essential
Insurance industry knowledge preferred
Knowledge of FCA, TCF, CCL and MoJ
Organised and with good attention to detail
Ability to travel to various office locations when required
