Salary: £44,620 per annum (outside London) £47,800 per annum (London)

Our client, a prominent government department and Executive Agency, invites you to join their Compliance Team as a Compliance Officer.

The Role
As a Compliance Officer, you will be an integral part of the Compliance Team, focusing on the following key areas:
- Representing the Compliance function on business projects, providing strategic advice and guidance.
- Ensuring successful implementation and onboarding of compliance requirements.
- Guiding the creation, review, and approval of financial promotions and customer-facing documents to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Offering expertise on resolutions and remedial actions for business incidents.
- Managing responses to Freedom of Information (FOI) requests within statutory timescales.
- Providing guidance on complex customer complaints and policy interpretation.
Essential Experience
To thrive in this role, you should bring:
- Extensive experience with in-depth knowledge of rules, regulations, codes of practice, and industry best practices in advertising and customer communications in the financial services industry.
- Working knowledge of FCA rules, especially BCOBS, and ASA codes of conduct for advertising.
- Proven experience in writing policies and procedures to align with customer communications.
- Familiarity with operational processes in the financial services industry.
