Retail Development Manager

We are looking to appoint Retail Development Managers covering all UK locations.

My client who currently represents 16,000 independent news and convenience retailers throughout the UK and Ireland exists to help the independent retailer compete more effectively in today’s highly competitive market by providing practical help and assistance, commercial support, deals and buying opportunities, training, expertise and services.

Main Duties of this role:

• Working within designated area and visiting independent retail stores to recruit retailers into membership.
• Partake in training opportunities when new products are available.
• Carry product to retailer visits and sell using agreed instruction.
• Visit current members and identify training requirements and use of effective business practice to improve members profitability.
• Actively promote and encourage member take up of additional Federation benefits.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationship with agreed local and national suppliers.
• Ensure accurate completion of all administration relating to recruitment of new members, visits, delivery notes etc.
