Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £19.2 – £24 per hour

The number one property consultancy on the planet is recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for a major 23-acre site in Surrey.

Their client is Exxon Mobil and the site is a major industrial and commercial site that is key to the corporation operations in the UK. This role if for a mechanical maintenance engineer who has extensive planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance experience on HVAC, Plant Room, Air Handling Units, pumps and other mechanical services.

As an experienced mechanical maintenance engineer you will be responsible for:

· The Mechanical maintenance, repair and minor works associated with critical, essential, and non-essential assets in accordance with relevant job plans

· Supporting / monitoring 3rd party maintenance supplier activities when required and report any corrective works arising

· Following maintenance risk assessments on all work activity ensuring safe systems of work are always adhered to

· Ensuring all plant rooms and workspaces are always maintained and kept in a safe condition

· Reporting / escalating all out of line situations, including Near-Miss & Accident Reporting

Qualification and Skills:

· Qualified Mechanical or HVAC Engineer (C&G, NVQ, Apprenticeship, HND)

· F-Gas Preferable

· You must have good communication skills as you will be working closely with the client, internal and external people

· You will have strong knowledge of Reactive and Preventative Planned Maintenance

As the mechanical maintenance engineer you will be joining a multi skilled maintenance team and working on a shift pattern (6 on 3 off 5 on 2 off, no Sundays), 6am – 4pm.
