Shifts – Continental shifts- 4 on 4 off 6-6

Job Description of an Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:
- Work on electrical breakdowns to diagnose and solve problems
- Report on any poor maintenance practices and work towards PPM schedules
- Working on rotating machinery, shaft alignment, machinery mounting, service equipment, conveying systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
- Assist in machine upgrades to ensure machines are kept up to date and working
- Ensure all forms are filled out correctly in a timely manner
Skills & Experience needed:
- A minimum of NVQ level 3 mechanical qualification (time served)
- Experience working in a manufacturing/industrial setting
- Strong fault finding knowledge- working on mechanical systems/hydraulics/pneumatics
- An excellent understanding of health, safety and environmental compliance
